Predictors of Teacher Burnout in Middle Education: School Culture and Self-Efficacy

This study aimed to investigate the extent which school culture and self-efficacy predicts teacher burnout. The research was conducted on 284 ( = 36.15,  = 8.34; 51.4% females) middle teachers from 12 Turkish schools. data were collected utilizing School Culture Scale, Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Maslach Burnout Inventory personal information form. Structural equation model used analyze whether self efficacy burnout or not. Findings showed that dimensions bureaucratic task had a statistically significant positive association with for student engagement instructional strategies. Task also classroom management. Although success negatively associated both emotional exhaustion depersonalization, depersonalization. exhaustion. results this support importance findings discussed within scope literature.
